XXL
Everything about Maverick Pierce is excessive.
His size. His wealth. His grumpy disposition.
Not to mention the impenetrable armor he’s built around his heart.
But Violet Hayes, a firecracker with curves for days and ribbons in her hair, is about to put a crack in Maverick’s armor.
And once the armor is gone, there’s no going back.
He’s going to claim her relentlessly, and claim her for good—
devoted, protective, and obsessed for the rest of their lives.

Tight Buns
The moment Emily walks into my gym, it feels like the world stops.
In the forty years I’ve lived on this earth, I’ve never met a woman like her.
She’s a curvy ballerina full of both sweetness and spunk…
…and I instantly know I need her in my arms.
But Emily claims she can’t get distracted by a man.
She says dating is off the table for the next ten months.
All right. Fine. Ten months it is.
I’m willing to wait for her.
I’m willing to fight for her.
There’s simply no other option.

309 Wildflower Falls Way
Wells Powell has never been one to take dating—or life, for that matter—too seriously. If there’s one thing he’s learned from his time as a bartender at the Holidaze Arcade and Bar, it’s that most relationships end badly. What’s the point in dating someone if you’re just setting yourself up for heartbreak? Screw that. He’d rather enjoy life.Ā
Enter Aspen Wright, the owner of the Pine Cone Cafe: she’s smart as a whip, driven, self-reliant…and beautiful beyond belief.Ā
Unfortunately for Wells, she also keeps her guard up all the time.Ā
With any other girl, Wells would shrug it off and move on. But he can’t get Aspen out of his mind. There’s something different about her. Something soul-stirring. And he swears he can see a glimmer of desire in her eyes, too.Ā
But will he actually be able to get her to open up? Or will she be the one his heart forever longs for?

Pralines and Mistletoe
I never expected to meet the man of my dreams through a dating app, but that’s exactly what happened.
Josh is a hot older guy, and I’m totally crazy about him.
After months of talking, we’re finally going to meet in person—and we’ve decided to do it in New Orleans during the holidays.
Sounds perfectly romantic, right?
Only thing is...I’m worried he’s going to be disappointed. I’m nervous that I’m not going to live up to his expectations.
Is this Christmas going to end in heartbreak?
Or will we get the happily ever after I’ve been daydreaming of?

Accidentally Yours
I know my brother’s best friend is off-limits,
but it’s hard to resist a bad boy with an irresistible smirk.
Especially when that bad boy is Drew Knight.
One kiss with Drew absolutely melts me, makes me impulsive like I’ve never been—
and turns into the best night of my life.
But six weeks later, I find myself staring at two pink lines on a pregnancy test.
And when I tell Drew, he shocks me by getting down on one knee.
What does he think he’s doing?
He’s Mr. Never Getting Married or Having Kids.
He’s Mr. Rebel Against the System.
There’s no way this isn’t going to end with a broken heart.
And yet I want more than anything to say yes, yes, yes…and for him to be my bad boy for life.

Beau’s Firecracker
For seven long years, I’ve been secretly in love with Reese.Ā
But since we’re best friends and coworkers, I’ve restrained myself.Ā
Then everything changes when we go on a Fourth of July camping trip a few days before Reese is scheduled to leave for an extended stay abroad.Ā
The fireworks between us are incredible…
…and also incredibly badly timed.Ā
But I’m not about to let that stop us from being together.Ā
Now that I know how she feels about me, I’m not going to let anything get in our way.

Every Little Love Song
Once upon a time, I was eighteen and in love with the only girl I ever had eyes for.
Wren was my soulmate, my other half, my muse for every little love song I wrote.
Then my music career took off, and we parted ways.
Leaving Wren was hard as hell,
but finding out weeks later that she was pregnant just about killed me.
I wanted to go back home, wanted to marry her and take care of her, but Wren refused.
You have to follow your dream, Corbin, she said. I won't let you give it up.
Difficult as it was, I did as she wanted.
Now, twenty years later, our baby girl is all grown up and getting married.
As the father of the bride, I couldn’t be any prouder.
But it’s time to make up for everything I’ve missed,
and it’s time to finally claim Wren—the love of my life, the mother of my child—as mine.

Hard As Steel
When Millie storms into my auto shop, she makes my heart rate shoot into overdrive and the rest of me instantly hard as steel.
She’s gorgeous, fearless, and curvy to boot.
There’s just one little problem.
She’s pissed as hell at me right now.
But I’m going to change her mind about me if it’s the last thing I do.
Sure, these hands of mine might be filthy with axle grease. But I know how to clean up damn well and treat a woman like she’s supposed to be treated.
And I’m not going to be satisfied until Millie and I are driving off into the sunset:
Me in my tux, Millie in her wedding dress, and a little grease monkey on the way.

Son of A Beach
I’m thrilled when my editor sends me to a dreamy tropical island to write a feature story for the travel magazine I work for.
Then I find out that Travis Cox, a rival writer who is lavished with undeserved praise and spends his travels chasing tail, is on the exact same assignment.
Worse, we’re staying in the same hotel...
...in adjoining freakin’ rooms.
I’m not going to let Travis ruin this assignment for me, though.
And I’m definitely not going to let those stupidly perfect abs of his distract me while we’re here.
Fall for Travis? Are you kidding me?
That won’t happen in a million years.

Dream Daddy
I came to this quiet little rental cottage to hunker down and finish working on a novel that’s due to my publisher in a week.Ā
It’s the perfectly relaxing getaway, complete with beautiful fields and fairytale-esque apple trees…
…which, naturally, I climb up and promptly fall off of.Ā
When I come to, I’ve apparently died and gone to heaven, by the look of the handsome older man standing over me.Ā
Caleb is a strawberry farmer, a single dad to three adorable girls…and the man of my dreams.Ā
But as swoon-worthy as our connection might be, I know it’s all just temporary.Ā
There’s no way Caleb and I can actually have a relationship in the real world…
…can we?

Boo in the Night
I’ve had a crush on Damien since the beginning of the semester, but I’ve never been able to work up the nerve to talk to him.
He’s way too hot and too cool to be interested in a shy, curvy girl like me.
But then he tells me he hopes to see me at the haunted house party tonight—a party I wasn’t planning on going to.
So I show up, my heart filled with hope. Maybe tonight will finally be the night we make a real connection?
But before I can find Damien, I end up locked inside a weird room in this stupid haunted house.
Great. Now I’m single and trapped.
If only I was trapped here with him…

Violet

The tangy smell of alcohol fills my nose the moment I walk into The Double Down. It’s quiet inside the rustic pub, completely void of patrons since it’s not open yet, but I still get a disheartening feeling about the place.Ā

As the door creaks closed behind me, a dark-haired guy who’s taking inventory of the liquor bottles behind the bar looks over at me. When I tell him it’s my first day working here, he points across the pub, telling me to see Patti.

In a small back office, I find my new boss sitting behind a messy desk, frowning at the ledger splayed open in front of her.Ā

ā€œPatti?ā€ I say.

She peers over the rim of her glasses at me. ā€œHmm?ā€

I smile warmly at her. ā€œHi. I’m Violet. I’m here for my first day.ā€

She runs her tongue across her teeth before saying in a gravelly voice, ā€œMm. Right.ā€ She leans over to extract a three-ring binder from a nearby metal shelf. Her eyes flick over to me again, looking annoyed that I haven’t sat down yet, and she uses her foot to push out the chair on the other side of her desk.

ā€œThank you, again, for this job,ā€ I say, taking a seat. ā€œI really appreciate it.ā€

Patti doesn’t say anything, just snaps open the metal rings of the binder and pulls out various sheets of paper and shoves them in front of me. It’s new employee paperwork, tax forms, that sort of stuff. I fill out everything that’s required of me with a pen that keeps running out of ink.

As I’m putting my signature on the bottom of the last sheet of paper, Patti gets up to grab something from a storage cabinet a few feet away from her desk.

ā€œDoubt these’ll fit you very well,ā€ she says, dropping two folded pieces of clothing in front of me. ā€œBut it’s all I got.ā€

ā€œHey, the smaller the uniform, the bigger the tips, right?ā€ I joke.

Patti replies with a half-hearted laugh.

The pieces of clothing are about as substantial as two napkins. Without even unfolding them, I can tell they’re going to be ridiculously tight on me, if they fit at all. My eyes seek out the clothing label on the low-cut top. The printed text on the small square label is so faded it’s barely legible. But I can make out the ā€˜M’ of Medium.

These are definitely not going to fit. I can’t even remember the last time I wore a medium in anything. And from the looks of it, calling these pieces of clothing medium is being generous. I would probably need an extra extra large for these clothes to fit comfortably.

With clomping footsteps, Patti rounds the side of her desk and yells out from the doorway of her office. ā€œDana!ā€

Dana, it turns out, is another waitress. She’s wearing the same uniform I have in my hands. Seeing a girl wearing the pub’s uniform confirms that it really does put everything on display. On a girl with an athletic build like Dana, it looks hot. I, however, do not have such a figure.

ā€œThis is Dana,ā€ Patti tells me. ā€œShe’ll show you the ropes.ā€

I nod and say that sounds great, even though I’m silently screaming at myself inside my head. What are you doing? Get out of here. You don’t have to embarrass yourself like this. But the realistic part of me knows that I need to suck it up. This job is only temporary. I can deal with it, no matter how bad it is.

At least Dana seems nice. Good coworkers can make all the difference. She smiles at me over her shoulder as she leads me down a narrow little hallway.

ā€œHave you ever waitressed before?ā€ Dana asks.

I shake my head. ā€œNope. Total newbie.ā€

ā€œWell, don’t worry. I’m an excellent teacher. I’ll get you up to speed in no time.ā€ She stops at a door and swings it open for me. ā€œYou can get changed in here. Put your stuff in any of the open lockers.ā€

I walk into the small employee room, which is basically just a wall of lockers, a table with an abandoned bag of chips, and a bulletin board on one wall. As I stuff my bag into an empty locker and start to undress, Dana waits for me by the door, examining her nails.

ā€œYou have a boyfriend?ā€ she asks.

I cross my arms and pull my shirt up over my head. ā€œNope. Not even close.ā€

ā€œGood. You’ll get more tips. Girls with boyfriends always say they won’t let it affect their performance, but it does. They feel guilty flirting with customers.ā€

Dana proceeds to tell me about her jealous ex-boyfriend as I undress the rest of the way and get my uniform on. As I feared, I can barely squeeze into it. The hot pants dig into my thighs. The top is barely qualified to be a top.

It’s only temporary, I remind myself. You can do this. It’s only humiliating if you let it be.

I shut my locker and walk over to Dana, who looks up from her nails and gives me a quick once-over. She tries to hide her reaction to my ill-fitting uniform, but I still catch it.

She gives me a kind smile and tells me I look good. I know she’s just being nice, but it does make me feel a little less mortified.

ā€œYou need ribbons, though,ā€ Dana says, frowning as she looks up at my hair.

I look at her questioningly. Then I notice the satiny red ribbons tied into a bow around her ponytail and understand what she means.

ā€œPatti didn’t give me any,ā€ I say. ā€œI’ll go back to her office and ask for some.ā€

ā€œEh. She seems extra bitchy today. I’ll just give you some instead.ā€ Dana walks over and opens up her locker. I see a stash of ribbons inside. She grabs a couple and grins at me. ā€œI’m always losing these stupid things, so I bought my own roll.ā€

She tosses me a hair elastic and I pull my hair up, then turn around for her. She ties the ribbons around the base of my ponytail.

ā€œThere,ā€ Dana says. ā€œNow you’re all set.ā€
